Follow these steps to verify your ADA deposit using Eternl and Trezor.
Step 1: Open the pending deposit in NBX
Go to Funds → Deposits in the NBX app.
You will see your incoming ADA transaction with the status Incomplete. Click on it to open the Notabene verification screen.
Step 2: The "Verify the sender" screen appears
An Add Funds panel will open showing the Notabene Verify the sender window.
You will see four sections:
- Amount - the ADA amount (auto-filled)
- Source - the sending wallet address (auto-filled)
- Sender - who is sending the funds
- Wallet - the wallet used to sign and confirm ownership
You only need to complete Sender and Wallet.
Step 3: Select your sender type
Under Sender, choose:
- Myself - if you own the sending wallet
- Another individual - if someone else is sending
- A business or organization - for company transactions
In most cases, select Myself.
Step 4: Select your wallet
Open the Wallet section and scroll to Self-hosted Wallet.
Select Eternl.
If your wallet is not listed, select Connect another device.
Step 5: Eternl opens
The Eternl browser extension will open and prepare the signing request.
Wait a few seconds while it loads — do not close the window.
Step 6: Review and sign in Eternl
Eternl will display the signing request.
Click Sign to proceed.
Step 7: Confirm on your Trezor
Your Trezor device will prompt you to approve the signature.
Follow the instructions on the device and confirm.
Note: No ADA is transferred - you are only signing a message.
Step 8: Complete verification
Return to NBX. All sections will now show green checkmarks.
Click Complete.
Step 9: Success
You will see a confirmation message.
Your deposit will be credited once the blockchain transaction is confirmed.
Troubleshooting
- Eternl shows "Cancelled" - the signing was rejected or timed out. Make sure your Trezor is unlocked and try again
- Deposit remains "Incomplete" - refresh the page and restart the verification
- Wallet not listed - use Connect another device
